Re: Match Thread: Griqualand West v Zim Provinces
Duffin's form is quite obviously shocking of late (how long has it been since he even got off the mark?!?) but I'm backing him to do well in this game. Place in the team under pressure, presumably good batting conditions chasing what will likely be a big first innings score - all tailor-made for a D...

Re: [ Poll ] Which other team or teams do you follow?
At the start of that tournament, I put AU$100 on Pakistan to not make the Super 8 stage. That tie set it up so perfectly as it meant they'd miss out if they lost either of their remaining matches - which they did. It was disappointing from a Zimbabwe fan's POV but it helped the hip pocket and it was...

Re: Vermeulen Cleared
ZC looking beyond politics and personal grudges, and picking teams purely on merit? Huh! He might get a run for the Provinces team, but I doubt even that.
I don't think this is the last we'll hear of him, though, and sadly I doubt that'll be because of his cricket..

Re: Likelihood of a MTN series stream?
Ten Sports plans to cover a lot of the games judging by this (click me). No mention of the Zimbabwe games, which is unfortunate, however we were added at the last moment so that could well change, especially WRT the matches in March.

Barney Rogers does live in Zimbabwe - if Facebook is to be believed, that is.

Re: Keith Dabengwa
The weaker opposition serves a purpose, as getting good innings & wins in against them is a good confidence booster. One of the reasons that Zim's places in the SA domestic competitions this season have been so important - it's really good match practice for the guys, who can then take that experie...

Re: Your first XI
I certainly wouldn't be picking Utseya is a test lineup unless it was a raging turner. Two spinners through the middle overs works well as a "strangle" in one day cricket, but with Price playing the genuine spinner's role, I don't think Utseya would have the required penetration to displace, say, Ma...

Re: Keith Dabengwa
Welcome to the boards. :) I would have been here much earlier had I know this place existed. I'm a bit of a "forum whore" as it is anyway, but I've had a search for a Zimbabwe cricket forum before a few times to no avail. Thanks to Bryan Morton, whichever member that is, for his cricinfo plug... 25...
