Re: Bangladesh Watch: 2022 and Beyond
Sounds like the BCB president, Nazmul Hassan is really frustrated with Shakib. Really paying out on him for withdrawing from South Africa.

Re: Shane Warne passes away!
Brett Lee went to Zimbabwe with the Australian Cricket Academy in 98/99, whereas Warne was with Australia B in 91/92. I gathered this info from cricketarchive.com & this led me to see that 4 Aussie youth or development teams toured Zim in the 80s & 90s. Plus NSW toured twice in the 80s & Tasmania in...

Interesting to see how Burl will go with the bat in the 4th innings. Without knowing the pitch conditions, I wonder how he felt about Kunje getting a bowl before him in both innings?

avid Boon has the record of 52 cans on one flight.
Apparently big Merv was setting the pace for Boony. This lesson was learnt from ‘72 where Rod Marsh( no slouch on the slops himself) was Dougie’s wingman.
Very critical these tactics are worked out beforehand!

Nothing like a beer conversation whilst posting on cricket. Ah, for that mythical time the forum meets at the pub to solve cricket & world problems! This anecdote may get lost in translation but it cracked me up at the time. Here in Oz, there is a comedian called MIck Molloy, a bloke in his mid fift...

Re: The many silences of Heath Streak
Just stating that I found G Tandi on cricketarchive.com & there was an junior international event in '93 & he was a squad member. Most scorecards are incomplete so I can't give performances. So was Darlington Matambanadzo. But the LC started as a FC comp in 93/94. Mashonaland under 24s competed & 18...

Re: 2022 U19 World Cup Thread
West Indies & Sri Lanka are also in their second season of non FC domestic comp. India as well but apparently that’s starting later. All three have organised white ball comps. The ICC, which moves slower than glacial melting, would still be dishing out the dough. Especially in Covid affected times. ...

Re: Logan Cup 31 Jan-3 Feb | Tuskers Vs Mountaineers | Rocks Vs Eagles
Mutizwa played 92 LC games & is the record holder from Dabengwa who played 91 games. Also, Mufudza's 56 over stint made me think who has bowled most overs in an LC innings. A quick check shows Ray Price bowling 60 overs in 03/04 against Matebeleland. This isn't a conclusive search but this could be ...

+3 umpires are playing for SA You knob! Marais Erasmus( the on field umpire) gave Elgar out, then it was overturned via DRS. The DRS system is owned by an independent body called Hawkeye which relays data to the broadcaster, Supersport. It's pretty much an international system & the one that was use...
