This is going to be a heart breaking tournament for some of these teams, as I reckon the weather will have a huge huge impact

google weather says the weather will clear in Bulawayo. But Harare looks quite like the Amazon.

Funny thing is that Afghanistan might have just perfomed too early.. they have just sent a huge warning shot to the west Indies but knowing them they might also get rolled over easily in the super sixes by the same West Indies team. That's what makes this tournament interesting. None of the teams are consistent. There about 4 teams I think can qualify with a bit of luck.

I’m thinking we slip our opposition a bad curry at an opportune moment. Bottled municipal water may do the trick. Actually that might kill them

More like 6 teams that could do things with luck taken into play. Scotland and Netherlands could both do heavy damage, with luck.

If all the games get at least 40 overs a side on average, this is going to be a fantastic tournament from a neutral's perspective. Of course I've long been the biggest fan of Associate cricket.

Afghanistan prove three things today

1. Their batting is vulnerable in these conditions

2. Their bowling lineup is world class

3. Windies are very beatable in this tournament

Afghanistan's batting is vulnerable in any conditions against any bowling attack. Nepal are the lowest ranked side in this tourney, ranked 18th in the world and they have every chance of bundling the AFGs under 200. In fact, the Nepalese beat Afghanistan at the 2014 World T20.

We can win from being 50/7 is a huge confidence boost.

Asghar is out is also a big boost for the team.

The guy made 6 runs in 5 match odis series against you guys.

46 runs of 100+ balls in last 10 odi's :)

It's however very open. Anyone can claim the spots. Ireland seems to be in prime form.
