Im a bit nervous about the windies chances of winning every game, theres an upset in them should Gayle get out nice and early.

The only saving grace for AFG at this point is that with HK and Nepal to come, they could really boost their NRR since they basically have a 0 NRR right now.

So the strategy for Scotland and ZIM is that have to absolutely maintain their NRR going forward. Both teams have one "booster" game left: SCO vs Nepal and ZIM vs HK. Afghanistan has 2 boosters left.
NRR against teams that don't make the super 6s are not carried forward and hence irrelevant.

Highly doubt any team is going to go through unscathed to the final. Windies still have to get through the Irish, AFG, ZIM, and even SCO.

AFG take 3 quickets to send HK from 38-0 to 43-3. HK collapses against SCO the other day as well. Will be tough once Rashid comes on.

PNG 55-1 going at near a run a ball against Windies. They probably won't sustain it and lose, but this proves the Windies are vulnerable and will lose likely lose matches.

Nepal 39-5 vs Scotland. Scotland will boost their NRR mightily as this game will probably be finished inside 50 overs combined.

I repeat myself: NRR against teams that don't make the super 6s are not carried forward and hence irrelevant.

Correct. Its only against Super 6 teams who's NRRs get factored.

We really need the Afghans to win this one now that they've lost to us.

The so-called Dutch are struggling a bit in their third-place play-off against the so-called UAE. It's a shame they can't both be knocked out in the group stages.
