Zimbabwe have to put up a better showing today. It has been very disappointing from Taylor with the bat but he has been doing a great job behind the stumps. Ervine should clearly be dropped for Musakunda, who has youth on his side. Mire has no score to speak of and shouldnt be anywhere near the starting line up until he picks up some form. The coach talked of having a dynamic batting line up but clearly Williams should be batting higher. With Zhuwao having a dash the other end Hami really needs to be converting his 20s into decent scores.

Players Performances hasn't came under scrutiny instead they fired those who doesn't perform in the field, as a result Zimbabwe today is in the verage of making record of 10 back to back odi loss.
Exactly well said. I can't half think whilst the debate rages on about "MIre being rubbish or Irvine being dropped..."
It should be why is the ZC Board still there? Why have we not got the Curran brothers here? Where are all the other quality players, chased away because they are white or dare to ask questions or refuse to pay backhanders to be picked.

People like Singo and Makoni are making a mockery of the very love for the game fans and forumites alike watch. Are we not enabling the rotten behaviour by just carrying on.
Make a difference, write to your newspapers, write to international newspapers, write to the new minister of sport.

Try the link from the first match thread.

Cephas is batting with some restraint here so far. Hammy looking solid as he almost always does...

My word, Banglas are so annoying when they appeal.

Man of your experience and you don't move your feet...

Another thing to note in Liams preview. He mentioned Taylor as the player with the most ODI scores against Bangladesh. Hamilton and Elton were high up that list as well, but all of their average are around 25. The rest of the group in that top sort of ten are all around 50 and upwards. In fact, Vusi is the best of our group at 33. I think it just goes to show how far back we have fallen. Bangladesh used to be canon fodder for us before.

Just watching Zhuwao, that six he played was so unconventional. His body was all over the place.

Surprisingly, Taylor's 118 not out is the only hundred from a ZIM batsman in Bangladesh since 2004 from 34 matches.

This decade, the highest individual score is Prosper's 67, believe it or not.

This is a Good batting surface. Anybody can get runs with the right mentality. Both wickets were giveaways. Mire Ervine and Tari must be hurting. Competition is good though.
