LEADING wicket taker Ryan Butterworth will be back at Whitehaven Cricket Club for their 2010 North Lancashire league campaign.
Zimbabwe all-rounder Butterworth will be the premier division side’s professional for the second year running - and this season he will also be vice captain of the first XI.
Club spokesman Arthur Brown, was delighted to have secured the services of Butterworth, after he claimed 51 victims with the ball in hand last season, becoming the top wicket taker in the division.
He said: “We originally signed Ryan as a batsman who could bowl a little but he ended up taking more wickets than anyone else in the league.

Lets hope the majority of players in our first class system can play in England over the summer as its great for them to be playing all year round and gaining experiance in diffrent conditions.

I think we should send our players during the winter break from April - September during the English summer . It will boost our players experiences .
