The schedule for South Africa U19's tour of Zimbabwe is out:

Code: Select all

4 July 2010 1st ODI Harare Sports Club
5 July 2010 2nd ODI Harare Sports Club
7 July 2010 3rd ODI Harare Sports Club
8 July 2010 4th ODI Harare Sports Club
10 July 2010 5th ODI Zimbabwe Cricket Academy
11 July 2010 1st Twenty20 Harare Sports Club
11 July 2010 2nd Twenty20 Harare Sports Club
I suspect that there's a typo with one of the T20 matches - ZC's schedule states that "all Twenty20 matches will begin at 13:00", which clearly couldn't happen if they're both on the same date, but for now I'll have to publish what we've been given.

Officially, he's head of the High Performance Centre (what was the Academy). What that involves day-in, day-out, I really don't know... :)
to put it mildly he should not be anywhere near the High performance centre. He has failed with the U19,the national team, and the A team .
The million dollar question why is he still with ZC.When others have not done well their contracts have not been renewed. Each time they
find some post for him why?

ZC Media Release:
Zimbabwe Under-19 prepares for South Africa

Preparations for the One Day Internationals (ODI’s) and Twenty20 under-19 series between Zimbabwe and South Africa are underway. The South African team is expected to arrive on the 30th of June, two days before their warm-up match against the High Performance Centre team.

The tour comprises of five one day internationals and two Twenty20 matches in Harare. Team Coach Robin Brown is taking charge of the squad, which includes players from the last world cup and a few new introductions.

“We have started selecting of the squad; we are working on having a very fit and strong squad. This tour will also be preparation for the next world cup and we need to get our boys match-fit for the next one,” said Brown

The team will use eligible players from the last world cup and new players from the schools league and the first league. “We will rely on players like PJ Moore, Culum Price and Natsai Mushangwe. South Africa will not be an easy challenge for the team but will by the first ODI on the 4th of July,” added Brown.

Zimbabwe has three weeks before the first match and the technical team is pleased with the level of commitment the players have shown so far.
