this is his first actual score this year. we should hope this form contiues and he decides to come back anyway.
I hope he does return ! He'll be such a beneficial addition to our side with both the bat and the ball. But having scored so many runs already, will he be tempted to sign an extension to his contract ?? I hope not

Ireland had a decent outing this time around: 7 wickets in two innings against Leicester.

looks like the zimbabweans are doin well at the moment.
Ireland got 5 wickets
Ervine 31 not out and i think 5 wickets for the match to
Cameron made his first class debut and got 25 and has bowled very econmicaly so far without reward.

I think this should show that a few more Zimbabweans should be pushing for county spots.

as always keeping an eye on a few of the boys in the uk... They have a MVP (most valuable player) rankings to tell who is having good seasons and obviously the guys who perform the best....
Ervine is second in the whole country as it stands, v good effort but we'd love to see him in zim colours again... ;-)) http://www.thepca.co.uk/mvp-10.html
Ireland is top of the averages in the second division of the 4 day cricket competition here once u have 20 + wickets... 2 fifers in 4 games... http://stats.cricinfo.com/ccdiv2-10/eng ... tournament
Flower is averaging 91 in the 40 over competition and only one of 2 players to score 2 hundreds this season... http://stats.cricinfo.com/cb40/engine/r ... tournament
These guys are doing really well over in the uk, their experience and quality would be awesome for zim if they ever come back and play although grant will be new batting coach.... :D

But I don't want them to do too well because that'll more than likely lead to an extension to thier contracts. Well not Flowers but certainly Ervine and Ireland :(
Thus ruling out the chance of a return

Watched Gary Balance playing for Yorkshire tonight, he was unsure of himself playing along Gibbs. He could do with coming back home and playing franchise cricket, to become a more confident batsman. Playing in Yorkshire maybe one game in a long period won't do him any good.

@Shumbat: If I’m not wrong, I’ve also heard about the same news somewhere in the live cricket update or either in some sporting news channel and it was really good to see Gary Balance. As far as I know about him, he’s a good champ and have the ability to perform well on any ground. Isn’t it?
