Is this match the reason that Sean O'Ervine got his Irish passport ?

Re: A 7 year old match
Oh look, another good Matsi score...
::puts away the wooden spoon::
While that match was being played, I was stuck in an office around 500 metres from the ground. In hindsight, very pleased I hadn't been able to get the day off to go see it - would have been a monumental waste of leave...

Was this match brought up because Matsi actually scored some runs in this game?

Re: A 7 year old match
You'd have to ask Jamthala, but I was assuming it was more down to being Zim's biggest humiliation by an Associate side - which Netherlands looked like beating at around the time the post was made. Fortunately, our day has gotten better since then...eugene wrote:Was this match brought up because Matsi actually scored some runs in this game?

Didn't we lose to the USA once in a warm-up ODI for the Champions Trophy or something?

Re: A 7 year old match
Not "many" times at all. In recognised ODIs, only a few times by Kenya. The Ireland defeat was a tour match, as was the loss to Uganda a few years ago.jamthala wrote:it is just make to show that zim defeated by associates many times.
