We need to play some shots
This is our problem. We either play shots, or we just defend. We have no middle. We don't know how to rotate the strike and that has been our problem today.

So many opportunities to just keep the score ticking over and we'd easily be at around 180/190 at the moment, but we are looking to move things along quickly or we are looking to defend.

Captain has to produce a captains knock today.
To be fair, I think Madhevere has rotated the strike pretty well today. It's a tough pitch to bat on.

Zimbabwe have struggled with rotating the strike against quality bowlers for the last 15 years.

Time to swing. They've so fucked these last 8 overs going at 2 that they have to swing at almost everything now.

Great 50. Not easy to do this against such a quality bowling attack

The commentators nailed it. We should have adjusted to playing off the back foot instead of constantly charging. We didn't look to rotate the strike and keep the score ticking over. We've put ourselves in this position through some silly play.

Looking back at all the wickets, all of them were stupid shots.

We really need to be better. Aus are really going to make the chase look super easy.

Our conversion on the sweep has also been very low, yet we keep persisting with it.

First game is never easy in Australia. Done far batter than I expected tbh. But yeah the approach is all wrong. Things to learn from
