Re: best player
And that's why Chiggs was made captain; Utseya can't possibly get into the team right now. But I have a feeling we're going to need either Masakadza or Taylor to score a fifty in every match for us to fully utilising Chiggs and Taibu's talents. But for a long time to come Chigumbura is the 1st name on the team sheet.

Brendan Taylor, without a shadow of a doubt. An aggressive opening batter, a very handy second choice keeper and a chirpy character in the field.

Re: best player
E the Equation! and Taibu has the ability to change a game or just knuckle down and stay in there. But In the batting I also do hope Ham and Taylor consistantly score 50s so when peeps like tibba come and Chigs they have the leeway to play their natural games, I just hate it when ever chigs comes in at 56/5 so now he has to chill out, I think it makes him a bit vulnerable.. And as for Ham he has to transform himslf into the Sehwag/Dilshan type of opener which is the new trend for openers now who go at the bowlers from the word go.
Re: best player
I dont think we need Maskadza to do that, I think we've got Taylor for that and he is already showing the skills for a Dilshan/Shewag type of batsman

Ya I agree with Mike. Brendan Taylor has always had the ability to score runs quickly like the Dilshans and the Sehwags, and now Hammie needs to consentrate on developing that side of his game. He's got a very good technique, so that always helps

Re: best player
To quote Alistair Campbell, Brendan Taylor is our premier batsman and therefore our best player in my opinion.
Chigumbura is the most important due to his versatility with bat and ball, while I agree with those who suggested that Craig Ervine is the player with the most potential for improvement. I also reckon we will see a lot of good things from Graeme Cremer once we return to Tests.

Chigs.
A talented batsman but a modest, hardworking character, Stuart Matsikenyeri is the third of three school friends from Churchill Boys High School, Harare to represent Zimbabwe in international cricket. - Cricinfo.
