he said something along those lines in an interview.

The autobiography has gotten released today. In an interview, Flower and Olonga have stated that they were young and probably a bit naive, but have no regrets from the armband incident, and happy that the protest brought some focus to the tyranny.

Ive just ordered the book from the UK...so will be looking forward to have a read

Still think "our zimbabwe" should be our national anthem!!!! If some of you havent heard it, jump on youtube and watch it...if you dont tear up i would be very surprised!

Actually maybe change the anthem with change of power...sorry getting political n this aint the forum for that

Yeah...the book was sent over from the UK pretty quickly and was keen to get stuck into it.

The first few chapters talk about his childhood ie schooling, moving to Zim and his talent in pretty much every sport.

Starts to focus on the policital situation about 1/4 of the way through and then goes from there.

I think it has been written really well and have no doubt its would be a cleansing feeling for him to finally be able to tell his side of the story...

I have read a number of sports autobiographies and many are self indulgent but this one is pretty well balanced.

The book is now making its way around my family as everyone is keen to see how much he details on mugage/zanu pf...

He is pretty candid and doesnt seem that too much has been censored so if youre interested on cricket and back home then i would recommend having a read for sure
