This could be a potential disaster for us if NED beats SL badly. Specially with SL having excellent NRR.
Yes, if the Sri Lankans win all their games it virtually makes sure no other team crosses 6 points.

A big Netherlands win would definitely be a spammer in the world that’s for sure. But if the Dutch can upset WI & SL then it shows anyone can win on their day.

We probably need to stop trying to predict the results of the tournament and just take it one game at a time.

This tournament is f***ing crazy. We can't predict anything.

If SL lose today the ICC will shit in their pants.

You guys are way too pessimistic about Zim. If SL lose today Zimbabwe will be the only undefeated team in the tournament and I don't see any reason why they can't win two more?

Don't think dutch going to win . Anything above 200 and srilanka will defend it

Ireland not exactly smashing the USA at the moment, they have seriously underperformed this tournament.

Am I right that we just need 1 more win, regardless of other results?

No entirely true

If Netherlands win all 3 Super 6 games

SL beat Zim & WI

Zim beat Scotland

All 3 teams finish on 8 points

May not be enough unless that win is against SL.

If SL loses to NED and if NED beats Oman and Scots too, NED would be on 8 points. We would be on 8 if we beat the Scots and lose to SL. And SL, if they beat both us and WI, would be on 8 too. Then it comes down to NRR and who knows?

I was actually thinking that Sri Lanka's tournament really starts today. Ireland clearly are not up for the fight this time round. Sri Lanka are only really going to be tested from today. Not saying they won't win but the contests should be closer
