State of SA
Re: State of SA
Sa again were about 120 all out in a 50 over game chasing 300. They've got no answer against the Afghan bowling. Rashid in particular
Re: State of SA
This series will give Afghanistan real belief in themselves. Hard to fathom how they produce such good players.
They were an Associate not long back and they'll soon be sending an A side to play us. Nothing like rubbing salt on an open festering wound.
We build stadiums in the middle of absolutely nowhere, pay a handful of players peanuts or nothing at all, whilst our cricket burns to the ground.

Can't wait to see what they name this stadium.
They love granting someone immortality.
I'd go with The Frank Mawoza Stadium.
He's done more for race relations than David Duke.

Re: State of SA

There are no new batters domestically that will fill the void, with the possible exception of Myers. At that point they will probably have to look for someone being moderately successful overseas

Nailed it.

Pure gold and horrifically accurate these crystal balls from four years ago

Re: State of SA
A remarkable achievement if South Africa can win the World Test Championship. For all the talk of being undeserved finalists they have shown they belong. Aside from Australia I can't think who else would have been a more deserving finalist - certainly not England nor India.
Hopefully the big three will realise that they can't just keep playing amongst themselves.
