If you follow Franks tweets and those ghost accounts you’ll see that Dirk is being blamed for advocating for white ZW players alongside Alistair and Coltart. Him assuming the office of DoC was I’ll advised, they will nail him for ALL the failures on the pitch. Perfect tea time storm

They currently love Bennett, theyre Ok with Curran, they dont like Welch, they are loving BT atm, Ervine is captain, they accept they need Williams, but as a unit theyre spawn of Satan
Who will they nail for our recent T20 failures? And the up-coming ones?
If Dirk must be the sacrificial lamb for the white-wash tests then who are they offering up for the black-wash T20's? I guess it's Sammonds.
Dirk had to see he was going to be the scapegoat. Makoni knew he'd be facing an awkward time as Director so gave the job to Masakadza and gave himself a huge salary increase and is basically retired on a massive salary and just has to keep figuring ways of channeling funds to Takaz as his hobby.
Masadadza accepted his fate after the last WC failure and resigned for a much higher paid position with a lot more time for golf and Elephant Hills trips and zero accountability.
Dirk is going south, Tino is quivering like a puppy for his turn.
It's going to have to come with a VX or it's not worth the lucrative commentary gig he's on cussing whites
. Dont do it Tino
be smart like Givvy and Hammy.
Actually Vijoen at least took a punt. First guy to put his cock on a block. He had one shot. Tino will get endless opportunities and only failure to qualify will put him at risk. Tino at least not too bad at hiding the poison.

Don't y'all love the multitude of Zimbabweans that put laughing emojis with comments like ICC must ban us, we must just give up cricket. Makes my blood boil.

Been here since 2007 and it's the same shit, different day.

Why do ZC not post the post match interviews when we get pasted? Just found one of Sammonds on another site and it was a minute long, the rest is cut off. Why?
Sick and tired of "journalists" who are nothing more than paid simpering twats not asking pertinent and direct questions and of coaches and players replying as carefully and generically as possible.
Sammonds said- u can see the guys that played for themselves.
Next question should be- Who? Name them.
He's under pressure and he's at least being vaguely honest.
I'm no fan of South Africans, they don't like us and look down on us, for whatever peculiar reasons they may have, but this guy has coached some good players and knows what he is doing.
What I dont like is he's clearly influenced by the usual culprits. I doubt that's contractual, he's just taking the path of least resistance. He's not all in, he's a fence sitter, go the extra yard, man, become an honorary Zimbabwean, it beats the crap out of being half pregnant. Get rid of the players that wont give it everything. Put your foot down about a couple of the guys you keep getting told to pick that are not and never will be international standard. I think you've seen you're on a hiding to nothing trying to play the political game, grow a set.

Better selections will improve us and there has been matches the last year or so that have been decided by a dud selection or two.
That said secret is largely right that it won’t move the dial much, and all those associate games have got us accustomed to the comfort of lower quality bowling/batting to contend with.
No one seemed to interject to the last round of elections. Taht surprised me. I thought someone with pull and influence would try and disrupt it, but didn’t. We just let the corrupt system run its course.
This means that SRC intervention will look dodgy. And rightfully so because thei were fairly elected on paper.
So on further reflection there are two cards to play.
1.Afghanistan.
When SRC tried o intervene the first time round the ICC suspended us on intervention grounds. Yet the Taliban came to power (to Kriterins glee) and they demolished the woman’s team and tinkered in the mens game, so if the political card isp played we can cite the Afghanistan situation as a double standard and ICC might buckle to avoid it getting worse for them. It’ll be hard to justify the double standard and they might just let it happen. They would surely see ZC is rotten on most levels.
2. Criminal charges.
If ZC are truly corrupt then there are skeletons in the closet and the SRC can use the threats of this to persuade the ZC cabal to step down for everyone’s interests. I remember this was flirted with before, but maybe they’ll do it this time. Then we can get commitment management in and start the 16 year healing process.

The SRC is way less independent than it was last time around. It is now filled by party stooges who have no interest in or knowledge of cricket and probably can’t be bothered getting involved anyway.
Don’t forget TM is also a government MP and has strengthened his own personal standing significantly in the past five years.
There’s no way the SRC are going to do him over.

We also really don’t want SRC intervention.
We are fucked and our cricket is fucked and there is basically no hope whatsoever, but another ICC suspension would be the final straw and I find it quite insane that people seem to want that to happen. It wouldn’t help anyone. It didn’t help or work last time!!

Don't underestimate for a second the will of fans to have Frank Mawoza lose his job because of a suspension.
The whole place is run by folks who dont have the greater good of the game in their sight.
Fans are willing to watch them all fall off like salt on a leech once the money stops coming in. For some, it's worth a suspension.
Fans are so dismayed and more and more are joining the bandwagon.

I hate them too,
But another ICC suspension will be the absolute death of cricket in Zimbabwe.
