I was watching the World Athletic Championships yesterday. Botswana got gold in the 4 x 400m. It made me realise, Zimbabwe is getting left behind by our region. All of the countries in our region are focussed on development and growth, we are still stuck in the old colonial hate dates.

I see the SRC has stripped Zim Rugby of it's power. Nowhere to be seen when Zim Rugby was in actual trouble, now that we have qualified for a World Cup, suddenly they want in.

Zim is going to be left behind in every aspect and the rest of the Southern African region is going to move away. We need to stop playing these stupid ZANU games. So sick and tired of them.

That Viljoen article is appalling journalism. Two completely unrelated things being joined together - Viljoen chatting with some players in the hotel, some players having been approached by corrupt individuals in the past.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

I feel its really only been put out there to show if we do lose, we have someone to blame and the board is absolved of any criticism.

Lot of effort to run a website with the occasional hit piece mixed with actual articles lol

There's another article that is claiming Raza is thanking Allah for the fortuitous return of our star all-rounder Faraz Akram, who's absence was due to other commitments. Apparently we havent had a star all-rounder since the retirement of Karl Mumba.
I'm not often askance at what goes on, because all things are possible, but if this is true its a real head shaker.
We will turn a corner for the good when Raza retires, disliked by most of the players.

That is an outrageous article about Viljoen. These guys drip poison. Disgusting.

When they qualified ED handed out about 100k (perhaps more, not sure). It was handed to a white who had raised real money in spinsorship to distribute to the players. The threats this person got to distribute it amongst the board and not the players were significant. It was ignored and the threats dissolved into glum faces. From aggression to begging sadness in a few minutes
We are being left behind because of the rampant corruption here.

It’s funny that Raza was super popular amongst team mates basically throughout his career up until about three years ago when he suddenly went up a level in ability.

Either it went to his head and he became a prick with the success, or it’s jealousy from everyone else. Probably both.

The Viljoen article is apalling but we knew it was coming ever since the big fallout he had with ZC 2-3 months ago.
