Quite funny that the English saw big old Mike Chinouya on the team sheet, took one look at the deck, and then thought better of it

Probably had a nice afternoon on either the neighbouring golf course or in the bar instead
Pretty embarrassing though really.

That's a First Class ground, against a FC team... Couldn't even get the game played because the conditions were bad.
It wasn’t that bad, I’ve seen worse. If you’ve travelled thousands of miles on a once in a lifetime trip to Zimbabwe to play cricket, surely just get on with it?

I'm sure you're right. Embarrassing none the less...

That’s a seriously woeful selection. Sigh.

According to Mawoza white boys opted out of this series in order to attend Jonathan Campbell's wedding in South africa :( If it's true, then it's an L move by those people

Probably true, but then maybe ZC should have given them more than 10-days notice that this tour was even happening?

Even considering opt-outs, it’s still a terrible selection even then

Look a wedding normally takes longer then a months notice. So ZC would have been aware of it.
Similar thing happened for Jarvis.

A simple explanation in the Zim squad statement would have avoided any discourse.

There will be Sogo games on 10.10 and 11.10
That will clear all these speculation and exucuses.

In fact... Two rangers games on the 10th... Nothing at the weekend.

If anything, that schedule would seem to confirm that they are trying to avoid the 11th and 12th.

Very odd that the league at this level would allow a club to move games, to avoid a wedding. If indeed, that is what is happening... As ever, the cloak of secrecy just leaves a vacuum for conspiracies!
