Incredibly ugly innings from Taylor, 10 off 27.

His lack of form seems to be a real issue. Are they absolutely determined that he has to play? If so, frankly, on what basis? Personally I wouldn't have brought him back into the international side without performances in pro cricket first.

If Ben gets a few more decent scores we might see BT dropped for Clive on the bench but Ben taking his place in the top order. Still a few games to go but to me that's a change that makes sense.

I suspect they are insisting on BT because of the conditions we will face there. Historically he is good player of spin and he has the experience you need to play a calm and collected innings.

At this stage, I wouldn't be against that change to be honest. I'm not at all sold on Curran as a T20 player, especially at the top level, but Taylor is in no form whatsoever at the moment. Obviously there would be other who would fancy that slot as well, other than just Curran.

That match was embarrassing.

Truly drastic stuff.

Taylor blown away by Maposa.

There are still hopefully 3 knocks left for him this week. Who knows, maybe he will find something. But at the moment, he looks unselectable. It's not just that he isn't scoring, he's looking so scratchy as well.

It's a real shame. He made a good contribution to the Afghan test victory, but rushing him back in T20s looks to have backfired.
