Re: Zimbabweans In Franchise League
I think I vomited a bit when reading that article. So much smoke has been blown up their arses about their ability when in actual fact, they're both very very average. Yet, a bloke like Brad Evans with a domestic bowling average of 14 in T20 cricket, and who was one of the leading wicket takers for a period during the world cup, gets left behind.
To me, when I read these comments from Makoni and the others pigs running the shit show, it highlights how some players are unequivicqlly in favour, despite their lack of evident talent. A 6 here or a good catch there and they're cemented. If I was Evans, I'd feel extremely annoyed and frustrated; especially since he had a good series in Pakistan last year.
Laughable

I get where your coming from but i would assume Brad doesn't need these type of exchanges because his at the level to be nearly playing for these franchises.sloandog wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2026 12:03 amI think I vomited a bit when reading that article. Yeah, surely he's a better player than needing some kind of foreign-exchange, work-experience programme?Andy31 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2026 1:20 amI get where your coming from but i would assume Brad doesn't need these type of exchanges because his at the level to be nearly playing for these franchises.sloandog wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2026 12:03 amI think I vomited a bit when reading that article. Frankly Madande and Marumani are probably too senior for that as well. Maybe a Nyamhuri or a Taruvinga?
