Vindicated with the Waller inclusion. I like the look of this middle order...
1. Mawoyo 2. Duffin 3. Sibanda 4. Taylor 5. Masakadza 6. Williams 7. Chakabva 8. Creamer 9. Jarvis 10. Rainsford 11. Mpofu

Half century from Captain fantastic ....... truly leading the troops from the front .

Waller for Chibhabha's spot ........Waller providing good company for the skipper

Good knock from Waller would have been nice to go through but good contribution Elton owes us one...

Good innings from Waaller, but poor shot to get out. One thing about him though, he plays for the team and rarely for himself.

But now Elton has to rebuild again and take it to the 45th over first before he attempts the big hits, and he's not always best at that :(

Elton - Another opportunity has been presented to you . Please be sensible like Waller and use it .
If you fail this time , it will cement the notion that you are now being picked as a specialist bowler.
Juss give the skipper company .... rotate the strike and when you are in go for it ....

taylor for another century! I'm enjoying his innings. I don't think Elton should try to settle, he should get a move on, and Meth should hit the grouund running if need be. We're playing for a win not respectability!

Yeah, good innings by Waller. He looked in really good touch before he got out. I agree with your assessment Conant; a very good team player.
hhm wrote:The good part is the more Zim fail the more likelihood of the mature players getting another look in - Matsi, Duffin, Ewing. If Zim turn to someone like Raza I can bet you Lamb & Dabengwa will be in the mix for ODIs as well. All of this could've easily been avoided. Initially, with a team of say Duffin, Taylor, Hamilton, Vusi, Matsi, Taibu, Ewing, Elton, Price, Rainsford, Mpofu you're starting with mature experienced guys, etc, etc
Besides Taylor, Zimbabwe's leading run-scorers in this series so far are the so called inexperienced players Mutizwa and Waller :)
