This is seriously worrying for Sri Lanka. Is this honestly their second best side? Where's Anusha Gamage, maybe he/she might explain what's up with this team.
And double H is back, welcome back bru

Already 16 for 1 in the chase............Train Driver wrote:Obviously the best bowler by far was Muzhange, Sri Lanka knew they were up against a Rhino and ran scared![]()
Nice one from Chigs, all he has to do is keep repeating the dose
Now then, not to be a wet blanket, but are they batting on a wicket today or a minefield ?, with a Zim batting response it's best not to get too excited until the score is somewhere round 80-0

61-2 at the start of the 17th over
Vusi Sibanda 31*
Craig Ervine 13*
Sri Lanka still looking odds on favourites to win this, Vitori and Muzhange padded up on the balcony .....

Well played, home by 8 wickets and 31 overs to spare with no silly panics
Man of the Match, Chigumbura ? Sibanda ?, no way, it must be Muzhange

Hope he was bowling fast and that it was not simply poor shot selection for most wickets (chigumbura)
Re: [Match Thread] 6th Match: Zimbabwe A v Sri Lanka A
Good to see Sibanda and Ervine get amongst the runs. I don't recognise many of these Sri Lankan names, is this really an 'A' side?
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

Agreed it's not exactly a team of household names the Sri Lankans have sent eugene, but after so many years of having no outside opposition any A side is good, even if it's only a B'ish A team
If my maths are right, todays Sri Lankan XI have played 589 List A games between them against 711 for Zim, take out Vusi and Elton and that figure goes right down to 322, so i think, on balance, it's good experience
The big test will be against the far more professional South Africans in the final, it would be really nice to send them back home as the losing side, again
