fuck i love how people get antsy (and by no means this is confined to this forum) when someone brings up a question that involves race, no matter how trivial it is.

last week someone asked who from the current team comes from bulawayo. And it was business as normal.

If someone asks 'what heritage or what colur is player x' you get people left right aNd centre all defensive yelling WHYS IT MATTER!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????!?

It obviously does to the world if it provokes a strong reaction like that.

If an alien martian read it oblivious to our world he will pick up somethings suspicious.

yup, good bowlers but not exactly quick!

Yeah, i mentioned Byo (vs Hre) trolling for a response ... but to be fair, there are not too many folk on here who feel that issue very acutely i don't think (though i do recall some months/years back responses to hhm's assertions regarding tribalism were pretty much "what does it matter")

:D yeah, "liberal angst" :D
still - rather angst-ridden than overly self-assured (though Jerry carries both off pretty well 8-) )

Likewise for Nathan Waller he is instead going to an Aussie cricket academy for the next couple of months

These two have got speeds up to early to mid 80's and are most probably the quickest around if you exclude Querl, who has been cleared, but still has a suspect action. At youth world cup three years ago Waller quickest recorded ball was 129km/h and Price was 133km/h. As they get older and stronger their speeds will increase. They are only 21

I saw Waller bowl that speed but i dont know about Price ? At one point he was struggling to get above 75mph. Would love to see if Googly could bring up a few names

What about the promise of Cuthbert Musoko, he had a great season for the Rocks last year as was hitting just below 140kph in the world cup, be interesting to see how he goes against India.

Evans at 16 is really good, last year he was all over the show but has sorted it out extraordinarily. He's 6ft something and still growing lots, all cock and bone and charges in with a nice action. Bowls big outswing and has a decent bouncer. I'd say he's pushing 130 now and no reason for him not to top 140 by 19 yrs old. Should be in the u19 squad. Wasn't even invited to trials when they were trying to make up numbers and he was itching to attend, plus the son of a former national player, makes u wonder? Disgraceful is the right word. Huge potential.

King at 17 runs in slower but has a big shoulder action (not unlike Mitchell), he tends to drag it down too short. This is a handful for schoolboys so he doesn't bother to correct it. I'd say he's over 130. He has a really ugly short ball. He's super athletic and strong. Huge potential.

haven't seen Callum for a while but no reason to doubt Cock's assessment.
