Re: BRONDON TAYLOR TO PLAY IN FAITHWARE
This has been a rare two week period of good news for Zimbabwe cricket. I wonder if the new government is playing a role in players decisions to return to Zimbabwe?
Whatever the reason, I hope Brendan Taylor, Charles Coventry, and Mark Vermeulen are all here to stay.

Still a bit skeptical! Regarding Taylor, I don't think he will make it back to Zim in time for the start of the series. Check out this site - he is playing a Twenty20 in Victoria today.Detective RDS wrote:brmtaylor.com admin whats your reaction? Fast!

Good to see that Taylor is playing in the bushfire appeal match.Still we all are hoping that he will come back.ZC should have talked with him before including in the squad.
But let's see what happens!

I still feel this is a publicity gimmick / setting things up to put the blame on to the other side by ZCU. If there is any investigation in the future, they can save themselves by saying that they had named him (or anyone, for that matter) but he failed to show up.
I would be very happy if this feeling of mine is proved wrong, though.
How is the situation in Bangladesh, by the way, RDS?

ZC wouldn't have named Taylor if there wasn't at least some sort of indication from him that he was interested. By naming him in the squad it means that if he chooses to return then he can be back in the system immediately without any hassle.CrimsonAvenger wrote:I still feel this is a publicity gimmick / setting things up to put the blame on to the other side by ZCU.
