Wow! This came as a jolt when I checked the scorecard now! Looks like he is really determined to become the first man to achieve the double hundred. 182*! I am scared now :(

196 not out little master. Perhaps we are not like pakistani's whose forum jinxed Covy's innings. I am furious on that bangla fieldes who deliberately allowed 4 of utseya and deprived Covy of 200.
Well down to Sachin though. The most ideal player to eclipsed this record. Now that he has broken Covy's record he must score 200.

Coventrys was still a better knock as he scored more than 60% of his teams runs, batted number three, faced less balls, and hit more 6's ;)

But in a way it is fitting that Sachin holds the record as even though i prefer Lara as my all time favorite, the way Sachin carrys himself and speaks is amazing, for the most famous face in India he does not have one bit of arragance which is astonishing.

We may not be, but we were two Indians praying against the most loved Indian cricketer from reaching that landmark. That tells something about the power of these forums anyway ;)

Yes, a deserving man to own this honour.
