Elton Chigumbura, Jarvis and Trevor Garwe wrecked havoc in the first innings with the new ball, and it looks like that will be happening again. Adwell as a handy 43 with the bat, Trevor Garwe Took 3 wickets for 11 runs in 6.5 overs including 3 maidens. Kyle Jarvis is beginning to impress with the new ball, and Elton Chigumbura has been ecanomical. I jyst think it's a refreshing change to see the pace men do some damage.

Re: [Match Thread] Tuskers v Eagles (Logan Cup)
it gives me great pleasure to say this
but it truly has been a day for our pace bowlers. Usually it's the spinners that do the damage, but today is been the Zimbabwean fast men.

It is certainly a good sign for the national team seeing Kyle Jarvis and the other pace bowlers playing well. Jarvis in particular needs all the first class experience he can get.

Re: [Match Thread] Tuskers v Eagles (Logan Cup)
A source that lives in Zimbabwe saw the match 2day as he's on holiday there through December. He told me That a young white fast bowler (AKA JARVIS) was getting some balls to rise to the throat of the batsmen. He said he injured Gregory Strydom aswell. Sounds like he's notching up a fair head of steam, and good to see too. Zimbabwean wickets arent always the most lively of pitches, so the lad must be doing something right in terms of pace and bounce
Wonder if he can push up to 90Mph
