Zim will struggle in future due to utilising spinner like bangldesh who now struggle in foreign pitches like new in zeland.

Hmmmm...i dont agree. I actually think we'll suceed in places like New Zealand. With players like Shingrai Mazakadza, Kyle Jarvis, Anthony Ireland and Gerald Aleseni coming through, we should be thriving. And if this doesn't work out, we've always got Raymond and Graeme to pull us out of troublejamthala wrote:Zim will struggle in future due to utilising spinner like bangldesh who now struggle in foreign pitches like new in zeland.

Zimbabwe badly lack wicket taking bowlers. I would see us struggling to take 20 wickets against any side. Our spin group are good at limiting runs in the ODI format which inevitably leads to wickets but this approach isnt so effective in the longer format as teams can just wait for the bowlers to tire. Our pace bowlers are mostly rather pedestrian, with the exception of Kyle Jarvis. We have lots of good bowlers that can tie up one end but very few who can take wickets at the other end.

Yeah i totally agree Eugene. I think Shingrai Mazakadza could be a valuable asset in the future, but he needs to work hard on his line and length. He's certainly got some pace. He clocked at 86mph in the first ODI. The lad'll only get stronger with time. Anthony Ireland looks like he'll be making a comeback soon, after his contact has finished that iseugene wrote:We have lots of good bowlers that can tie up one end but very few who can take wickets at the other end.

And possibly Andy Blignaut
