i wonder what the conditions are like at st vincents, others are saying its also a slow pitch but others are claiming its not that slow. I have a good feeling about todays game and i reckon our batsmen have to step to the plate today and score some runs. hopefully we will have some good bowling today. Pity Jarvis had to go home, would have loved to see him bowl.
hopefully the Zimbabweans have a good strategy and really prove that our cricket is improving. :W:
I predict a win for Zimbabwe today!

Won the toss and are bowling

Benn and Bernard Jr not playing for the West Indies, intresting perhaps they dont think its going to turn as much.

Rampual and Dwayne Brovo come in so i imgaine that this pitch will not be as spin friendly and we will not see our 5 spinner attack.

mmm interesting I wonder what kinda pitch it is, that was a confident call i reckon. the bowlers should give the Windies a run for their money. This time we shouldnt tolerate any extras.

Today is a day of changes
1.We win toss and choose to field
2.We open the bowling with a seamer .
3.Maruma is in for Chris Mpofu ( hopefullyy he will be useful with the bat too )
4.West Indies have dropped Benn ( spin who bothered Zim )

Maybe. I'd say Campbell & co were worried by our flaky batting in the 2nd ODI, so bowl first, hope to restrict the Windies to a low score, and take some of the pressure off the batsmen by giving them a clear target. Depends how the conditions turn out when we're batting, but replacing Mpofu with Maruma both plays to the "death by spin" gameplan, and gives us another batting option. Good change, I'd say.

I reckon thats a highly stupid decision and poor composition. Why bowl first when you hav only spinners? Whats the fun in chasing when you have a shaky middle order with ppl like Lamb in and coventry out? We have blown two great chances in last match and this one and so disappointed that i fear 1-4 loss.

Whoops. Pricey hit for SIX. Don't see that very often. Gayle going for his usual approach today, rather than Mr Patient from the last match..?
