i think the bowling effort of Tendai Chitara should be noted. To get 5 wickets and to get them at such a low economy rate is a fair effort. We know he can push up to arond 137km, i think he should be in line for a debut soon. :D
Admittedly those were his first wickets at first class level, so I guess he deserves extra credit for turning that into a five-for.

I am ecxited wen our seam bowlers are doing well. Well done to Chitara and Rainsford . Hope Rainsford maintains the form and gets picked for the T20 WCup

Rainsford is good at getting the yorkers in so if his radar is suitably tuned he could be lethal in the death overs when sides are hitting out

A bit of Logan Cup history.
Hamilton Masakadza has succeeded Stuart Matsikinyeri as the highest rungeter in LC first class history in this match. Masakadza now has 2945 career LC runs & Matsikinyeri has 2906. Unless Brenda Taylor scores about 550 in the final, thats how it will remain asat seasons end.(Oops, maybe Chigumbura could score 450 also).
In this match, Rainsford took his 100th LC wicket.
I have to start assembling my season statistical review.
