Canada 129 (54.2 overs; Rizwan Cheema 46*, Chatara 3/21). Which is better than they should have gotten to, but still a good performance for our guys.

Re: [Series Thread] Zimbabwe XI in Canada
Well, cricinfo did say it would be a hard first hour
Pretty good return for the Zim bowlers, i understand that at least 2 or 3 catches went down as well, so it could have been a much smaller Canadian total
Struggling in reply though, Williams now out for 5 as the score reaches 16-2 after 9 overs, 114 more required for the first innings points ....

Re: [Series Thread] Zimbabwe XI in Canada
Good sensible play by Sibanda and Ervine now after the earlier rattle of wickets
Matsikenyeri 2, Williams 5 and Dabengwa 24 the men out, Sibanda 23* and Erine 27* at close of play with the score at 88-3 from 27 overs
Trailing by 41 runs now with 7 wickets in hand and those 6 first innings lead points amost in the bag
Not exactly a boring first day on a draw wicket

The Matsikenyeri express came to a halt today. Shame to see Sean Williams fail also. This is an important series for him. Great to see Ervine continuing his good form however.
