what i like about utseya is his economy rate and he helps others get wickets by tieing up the batsmen at one end.

i think there is a place for him in the squad. as to whether or not he is a cert to play every game i would say not but for some games i would deffo play him.

i rate cremer and price above him as spinners.
A talented batsman but a modest, hardworking character, Stuart Matsikenyeri is the third of three school friends from Churchill Boys High School, Harare to represent Zimbabwe in international cricket. - Cricinfo.

I think Utseya's place in the side is compromised by how many quality spinners we seem to have at the moment. With Price and Cremer we have two great spinners, and then many of our batsmen can also bowl part-time spin also - even Matsi can bowl a bit.

I agree with this, Utseya is still an important part of the ODI squad.

utseya should be played on a turning pitch alongside cremer and pricey, but on a green zipping pitch play 2 or even 1 spinner because we have a bit more pace bowling options this season, i agree he should be in a 15 man squad with his experience and tight bowling more than useful.

I like Utsea an i have a lot of respect for him. He stuck with us when times were tough, and the more I think about it, the more I think he should be in the squad. But weather or not he'd play is another matter
