Totally agree with Sloan here Vusi Sibanda is underrated. Now that we're returning to Tests people will appreciate his cricket. I'm starting a campaign to make him Test captain as well so yeah Sibanda FTW :D Now my contribution:

Underrated: Pommie Mbangwa. At the time he didn't have the swagger of Henry Olonga - who had dreadlocks and took Indian wickets at WC with the whole country watching - but he was a cleverer, slower seamer. He was the first change bowler who kept it tight over and over again and in a match that pressure eventually becomes invaluable. But now he's more flamboyant in the commentary box than he was on the field, thank goodness!

Overrated: Dion Ebrahim. How did he maintain a place in the national side for more than four years?

Overrated - Craig Ervine. He ain't his brother.

  :D :D
Now i know you rate Matsi mate, but does he honestly deserve to be in the side..?
And given how well Ervine has done in Bangladesh would it be fair to drop him.
We all know Craig Ervine isn't Sean, but i tell you what, he catching up.
I'm definitely not going to turn this into an anti matsi thread, i just think his rightful place is at first class level, and in doing so should stay there for the greater good of the teams development.
But ay, mate, we're all entitled to our own opinion on this thread, so yours is just as valid as mine is :)

I would have thought the smileys would have given the game away that I was taking the piss :D

I like Craig. He has done well and proved me wrong.

Underrated - Guy Whittall (historically), H.Masakadza, of all the current players the most likely to score a test century (current)
Overrated - H.Olonga/A.Campbell (historically), C.Coventry, one brilliant innings, poor record otherwise (current)

What did he do ?? Seriously mate, not having a pop or anything, but what did he do to show the world (or even us Zimbabwean supporters) that he was a class act.

He played 90 ODI's, scoring 2 hundreds and scoring 5 half centuries in 82 knocks.
Compare him to Vusi Sibanda, who has played 85 ODI knocks, and he's scored 12 ODI half centuries and one hundred.

Sibanda is better technically, and has much more talent
