I think we had only one game to play? Maybe they just never bothered, having nearly exhausted all their standby batsmen.

The reporter seems of the opinion that the pitch was fairly placid. More woes for our standards, then...?

Interesting to note that Panyangara has not been selected for the Mountaineers, and also that Chatara and Tiripano were given the new ball ahead of S.Masakadza.

Not sure what to make of this game. Well done Hammie (although we expect nothing less from you). Keep up the good work Meth (I doubt you opening with Mupariwa would've fetched as much as Chris & Shingi at the WC). You're due some runs Coventry. As a Tuskers fan I would've wanted nothing more than for one of our own make-shift openers to get a double century in this one. But surely this kind of match does not deserve to end in a draw, which would've been inevitable with Mabuza acheiving that kind of feat.

Haha, he does have a pretty miserable strike rate... I think this is a 5 day rather than 4 day game though...

Hamilton and Meth are the only bright performers so far in the final, clearly underlining their whole season's efforts.

Not at all, may the best team win today! And another 5-for for Meth would help ;)
