I have been told Midlands league is kicking in early December.

We recently had the Two keys t20 in which 'fan favourite' Antum Naqvi was the leading run scorer and it was surprisingly won by the Pirates (mainly down to K Phiris heroics).

Kwekwe finished bottom of the group
How many months is the golden boy spending in Zim a year? Was he around during winter?
No he came back in September I think

I know not necessary for this club season but i found some old winter league scorecards from this year. Strange to see Malcom Lake playing a few games.
Apologies if this has been said before or starts a plethora of post saying get him in.

Fairly sure he's done, I believe he's married and has a cushy job. I think he actually lives in Zim now.

Is Alex just a Pakistani immigrant team?

It's either a spillover from OH or it's OH first team guys playing for Alex in preparation for the First league stuff.
A few players ran into problems last year and had to sit out the first few first league games because they'd been playing second league as well. It would be truly remarkable if they made the same mistake twice in a row

There's suddenly a bit of interest from the Indian and Pakistani community. I think The Rangers seconds has a few white schoolboys as well, which is a good sign.
At current rates we may get back to where we were club-wise thirty years ago in the next 20 years. Basically we've lost half a century of cricket
