If mire is out we might have to bring in Mupariwa and Utseya and drop Kamungozi, Utseya's batting will be required if Mire is out ......
If the boys hold catches and play straight they'll give themselves a chance .....

Hammy has already sounded off on the CI preview on the size of this ground coming from NZ. Not as big as the MCG, but will be important to run the 1/2/3/4s here...ie the crux of ODI batsmanship.
India and AUS in their respective matches at the MCG vs SA and ENG, respectively scored around 58 and 66 runs between the wickets per 100 balls faced. They each scored 300+ batting first.
BD only managed 267 here at Canberra vs AFG's attack, 24 fours, and 3 sixes. That is a strike rate of only 42 runs via running between the wicket. We played out way too many dot balls.

Rain could be a factor today, against most top teams I feel a shortened game would suit us but not against the Windies who love t20 cricket ......
A no result could be handy though as the longer the tournament goes the more I feel the Pakistan match is our best chance of an upset, they just don't seem to have the right balance of bowlers and batsman in their side without Hafeez ......
