We have three quality established batters in Hammie, Tatenda and BRM. We also have two really fine prospects in Ervine C and Williams S. I think with Chitara and Jarvis two decent quickies, our spin dept is great and Chigs rocks. But I am worried about Chappie. Too inconsistent. He has to go. Greg Lamb. Bring him back when fit.
I agree with every word you've just said. Taylor has really blossomed with the bat these past 6 months or so, and we all know what Mazakadza can do at the top. Taibu needs to value his wicket more, but you can't deny the mans class and ability. In Craig Ervine and Sean Williams we have two genuine batters who can bat both ways. They'll both be vital if we're to win against South Africa, and possibly do well in the world cup ;)
Our pace battery, as i've been saying for some time now, looks very very healthy. Ed Rainsford and Christopher Mpofu are doing a superb job in leading the attack for us, while the younger less experienced bowlers (Jarvis, Chitara and Mazakadza jnr) develop in their own time. There's also Ian Nicholson and Andy Blignaut to call upon. So ya, our side's beginning to take shape. We now just need to keep one winning
