He doesn't see much of Taibu.

He was told it was going ahead, but he isn't betting on it.

I asked John a question of my own.

Whatever happened to the cricket ground at Victoria Falls?
They’re probably growing mealies (maize) on it by now!!! I believe ZC still owns it, but without money nothing can be done. Some time ago one of the black reporters said he had seen the ground, and that it is in a bad position (I forget why) and really unsatisfactory for big cricket. I wouldn’t bet on it ever being developed at all, certainly not in the foreseeable future.

They only poach game up there, planting a crop takes effort, why do that? The trick is to sit tight and wait for a commercial farmer to have his maize ready for harvest and then invade and start shouting chimurenga slogans.

It's like the cricket, get someone else to make it work, then grab it, rape it and then get angry because no one wants to come back and fix it. Life is so unfair when you've been oppressed.

Question for John Ward.

Question: Do you know when the new domestic cricket season starts ? What's your take on the proposed provincial system domestic cricket and do you know how it is designed ?

Thank you eugene.
