Word has it that he may get a start in Firsts this weekend. He had a good knock today, 5 17 year olds pulled off a win against the Hampshire First XI today. They played 2 games, the first one they lost convincingly and then came back and pulled off a great surprise win.

I am pretty sure that Sam Curran has nothing to do with Zim. HIs name perhaps, but he was born in the UK and as far as i can recall, has no relation to the other Currans. I may be wrong.

.
Sam Curran has played Zimbabwe under 13s and 15s and is the brother of the other 2 Currans Tom & Ben

Not got a lot of runs for Surrey 2XI at the moment but has scored 177 runs at 45 in the ECB premier league so far including 85* off 66 against an attack that included Aussie big bash allrounder Will Sheridan, Ex Sussex player Neil Turk and ex Surrey & Northants pro Matt Spriegel

Surrey ECB Premier league is quality league cricket, as are all of the ECB premier leagues in England, so PJ Moor's runs there certainly warrant merit. Made me furious when Stephen Mangongo referred to Tino Mawoyo's participatication in the Essex ECB Premier league as playing ' boozers league' cricket. What a pr**k Mangongo is.

I see two of the Curran brothers both played against my guys last night and lost :P

Tom opened the batting (he doesn't normally??) and made 41 off 22, Sam only made 6 off 9. Both of their bowling got tonked as well.

I suspect we'll be seeing him in an England shirt very very soon.

Dabengwa selected for a West of Scotland XI to play in the warm up matches of the ICC T20 Qualifying competition.

Firstly today against Canada and then tomorrow against Holland.
