Interesting, and a pretty obscure fellow it seems. They say he played for Zimbabwe Under-21s -- but there are no available records for a team of that kind, and neither has he featured in an official U-19 match. Maybe he only played in one of the schools weeks in SA?

Any more info on the guy?

As I said, he was in the news during Zim's tour of NZ, but not due to anything related to him, but someone in his family.

I had guessed that de Grandhomme would become the first guess. And it was ...

But the answer is incorrect. To add further to the hint, his first class career was not a great one, and lasted only for a couple of seasons.
