Ya. And your prediction of 400 plus.
This pitch is now breaking up though. Toss was very important. We are in deep deep shit batting on this now.
Pitch is not a minefield. Not yet anyways. You have to remember Mavuta as a wrist spinner will get more turn than any of our finger spinners (in all likelyhood).

I didn't make any serious predictions about 400 plus. I only joked that 200 run opening partnership would be useful, which it would have been. And that 500 plus total would be good. Didn't necessarily think we would get it, just that we needed it. And 500 is still far away. But our 200 run partnership did come just for the 4th wicket.

Now though, I think if we get into a position to enforce a follow on, we should still go ahead and bat again. Would like to see if Mominul could get a not out 50.

Its all about batting time now. There is no other option. Bangladesh have to win so their approach will be interesting. When it will start spinning will decide it for me because there isnt much going on now. Boys have to dig deep. There is no rush. No reverse sweeps when we get out there please.

Chatara's injury is unfortunate but I think it shows he isnt fit enough for this format. These kind of big scoring games do happen once in a while.

Has little to do with fitness. Such injuries can happen to anyone. Its fairly hot out there, and he's been toiling for a long while.

If we go out there with the mindset of batting time it will backfire. They just have to bat conservatively, and no reverse sweeps from BT!!

Mavuta’s stock delivery has got quite a lot of over-spin, which makes it tough to land it consistently, he’s definitely work in progress, but has loads of potential.
Who’s going to make way for Cremer when he’s fully fit?

Would ZIM play 2 leggies together? I don't see why you can't.

Before play today I was thinking "Jee, I want Riyad to fail, but we also need some support for Rahim. Would be ideal of he scores 40 odd, does enough to get us to 400, but not enough to save his spot in the team".

So happy its come true and ZIM didn't drop that one. Hopefully Ariful and Miraz hit a couple of fifties here.

Jarvis! 1 away from a five-for.

Ariful has looked good this series, they need to get him early in my opinion. They can't allow this partnership to get going.
