This is a good batting wicket. Completely different type of game from the 1st test. If we survive the new ball we will also score big. We dont have to win this game. I see the pitch only causing real problems much later in the game. So surviving Mustafizur and the new guy who they are saying bowls really quick is the only real issue for now.

Reminds me of the Sri Lanka test actually
Did you forget about our spinners? After spending 150+ overs in the field won't be easy. Plus Mustafiz is an expert at reverse swing.

I don’t agree, I think this pitch is going to turn big really soon. We’re really up against it here.

We havent taken one wicket with spin. Not even one. We will see how Taijul will bowl but I think the spinners will come into it much later in the game if people bat sensibly. Thats the key. It has only been doing things for the fast bowlers. Even Tiripano is getting some movement.

I guess the key is when it will start turning sharply. I think we still have a few more sessions before it becomes unplayable.

I am more afraid of the Fizz to be honest. He might do some serious damage

I agree..this is a typical subcontinent wicket..Will start turning from tommorow.

Hopefully, we can atleast prevent an innings defeat

Kriterion- remind me who your commentator is?
The one who has got several hot potatoes in his mouth. He sounds like an Eton boy.

Fantastic innings from Rahim, absolutely top drawer. He’s an annoyingly good cricketer.

On a rank turner Raza and Mavuta become as good as Taijul or Miraz. Similar to how on a greentop Bumrah and Ishant are as lethal as Rabada and Philander. On a sporting or a flat track the difference comes out.

Bangladesh beat England and Australia on turning wickets not because we are a better Test team than them, but because it made our spinners as potent as their quicks.

Shamim Chowdhry is the bloke who just repeats phrases like "biding his time", "must have had his heart in his mouth", "he is looking very tentative" and "cricket is a game of glorious uncertainties".

Athar Ali Khan is a former BD national team player who's catch phrases include "my word" and such and such event happened "in the year two thousand and twelve."

Will Mushy take the gloves? He must be extremely tired. If the ball is going to spin they might need to give him a break behind the stumps
