These people are so clueless. When I asked one of the franchise coaches when they season would be starting. I get the reply, "No...Have no idea"...And we are about to greet September.
Just seen the highlights of Sam curran batting. Very impressive, lots of time and looks strong through that cover area. And his brother taking 6! Tom curran I don't think will represent England simply due to his pace. I mean he's only 20 so he could and should get faster. Sam, on the other hand, has got to be the most exciting young cricketer in and around the county circuit right now. Who at 17 can bowl 85 mph in swingers and bat as well as he did at number 3

Sam will surely be in the England World Cup squad in 2019, great player, cant remember the last time a 17 year old tore up county cricket like this, we should be proud...

SM Curran to Taylor, OUT, inswinger does it again! Its a far fuller length, so Taylor leans forward for what could be a straightforward block, but the ball moves in the air thereafter and strikes him just enough in line with off stump and that means 17-year old Sam Curran is on a hat-trick in the Royal London semi-final
BRM Taylor lbw b SM Curran 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00
.
Literally when I had turned on the TV Taylor was walking to the crease. It was a great in swinging delivery although BT could have done better, he's never really been great with his footwork early on in his innings though.

Please change the name of this thread to 'The Sam Curran Thread'.
Sam Curran was born&bred in England. Tom Curran born&bred in South Africa (I know nothing about Ben Curran othe than that he's an opener for MCCYC and should be aged between those two or older than Tom?). Although their sadly late father Kevin Curran, Zimbabwe's very own cricket version of Heyneke Meyer, was born in Zimbabwe. Same with their similarly named grandfather. Still alive according to Cricinfo http://www.espncricinfo.com/county-cham ... 55325.html. I wonder what his relation is with his former daughter-in-law, their mother.
Nonetheless it would be interesting to know what are the reasons for this forum claiming them.
