Kaia & Mutombizi deserve a test match this year....

No. They're not.

Looks like Moor might be playing himself out of the national team at this rate...

Check the rates in test sereis. Sa v/s SL, Aus v/s Pak.

Because of selfish Kaia, Zimbabwe A lost the last match, was just playing for his ton, not for the country. 75 balls already faced as good as 12 overs scored just 21. He should know trick to play odi cricket, if you can't hit boundaries or sixes, try to rotate strikes with one or two, without wasting deliveries.

Being signed off work for a couple of weeks i have watched the majority of the 4 matches.

The biggest thing which struck me was the quality of our batting. There was very little intent shown with the batsman happy to pat back delivery after delivery to the bowler. The only players which seemed to have the ability to maneuver the field were Burl and Mutumbodzi. The concerning factor was that Mutumbodzi looked a class above the rest in his innings yesterday (even Burl) as we know he has done little at international level.

PJ looks out of nick, can he really be selected for the ODI squad to take on Afghanistan?

Nathan Waller and Burl have to be selected for the ODI series, i would also bring Chatara back into the fold. Perhaps Mutumbodzi will sneak in there if he scores runs tomorrow. We are really stuck for openers at the moment. Chari is not up to it so for me Raza needs to open up alongside Justice C.

Even though the results have been poor this series has helped us decide on a few players. If Burl and Waller can get into the ODI squad then we can say that this series has been worth it. However for the likes of Chari, Musakadnda and Madziwa this series has been a backwards step.

Ultimately we need more of this kind of cricket to identify the players who can step up and then ones who are not simply up to it.

Why do we never get press releases from ZC? They have a PR division, what do they do to earn their wage? Where are the sports writers that should be publishing statements from the coaches? There's just a deafening silence from everyone. It's pathetic.

I want to hear from Streak, Taibu, Ntini and Klusener. No "positives," just some hard cold truths. Every other cricketing nation (England and Australia in particular) have a squadron of sports writers that get interviews, offer opinions and generally create topics of conversation amongst their readers. We just have a bunch of dummies waiting for permission to publish some watered down bullshit from whoever is the ZC spin doctor.

Should Streak have control over Zimbabwe "A"?

What else is he doing at the moment?

Hondo clearly not that man we need.

I don't know who was managing and coaching them, but he should be paying close attention because he's looking at a couple of the players.Hopefully they're practicing hard because we need to beat these guys. We're so sick of the endless disappointing games.

We have simply under performed because we have two serious problems.. 1 we are good a recycling same old rubbish and 2. Our selectors are not picking guys based on form and statistics. I was reading the Cameron White Article http://www.espncricinfo.com/australia/c ... 80676.html . We simply dont have a reward system for hard work. We have a player named Tanya Munyaradzi who somehow is not near any squad must have been within the top 3 bowlers last season. We have Gary Chirimuuta who last season was not dismissed ,We have Prince Masvaure who after a break through has been discarded.Cephas Zhuwao a clear ODI prospect who somehow is not considered. I agree that the kids must come in but what does it say where by Ngarava and Murray are fast tracked without playing a single List A or First Class game. There are players who have clearly have been pushed ahead of guys who are deserving.

Zhuwao is a tried and tested failure at international level and he's now 32. It would be the biggest backward step in the history of cricket if we went back to him again. Murray getting a game was absolutely the correct decision.

Why not Nkosana Mpofu, Tendai Maruma, Prince Masvaure, Cuthbert Musoko ?? All were in the top of the charts in last season.
Robo to rule
