3 WICKETS FOR CHIGUMBURA SO FAR!!!!!!!!. Its been a good match for him,he's proved a little expensive bowling but who cares when he's getting wickets consistently

4 Wickets now!!! A bit expensive but Northants could afford it. This county season will do wonders to him and the national team :W:

A couple of quotes from UK's The Times
Once Chigumbura, the Zimbabwe captain, had gone for a stylish, if patient, 44 from 126 balls in his maiden first-class innings in England...
Chigumbura, a 24-year old who might be the template for wild, young pace, persuaded Mark Wallace to lob tamely to mid-on and, with consecutive yorkers, had James Harris leg-before when hammered on the toe and Dean Cosker comprehensively bowled.

People are beginning to realise his talent and potential with both the bat and the ball.
Do you guys think he's a better bowler than Anthony Ireland. Of what I've seen of Ireland this year he looks like he's carrying an injury as his pace has dropped dramatically.

Some of Elton Chigumburas shots were text book. Some very stylish cover drives straight drives and a wonderful back punch for 4. Even his dismissal was a decent shot, just rather unlucky to get out like that

And is it me, or does it look like his bowling's beginning to come together ;)
That ball he bowled to Harrison looked sharp as his off stump went for a walk :D

I would have but recently The Times has started charging for online access, you wouldn't be able to view the article unless you subscribe. Besides, it's a short article and all Chigs references are in those quotes. Anyhow have a go:

Also did I see some swing on those? Good for him, if raises his bowling we'll certainly be a stonger team. Including captaincy, he'll have a lot on his plate but hey, he wants to be one of the world's best allrounders. He's well on his way I bet. :D
