i simply proved i have a better definition of good than you do. personally i consider a batting average over 40 as being good and over 45 as being excellent. struggling to get to 34 is pathetic.

A batting average over 30 in New Zealand is good. The pitches aren't exactly batting paradises. Colin de Grandhomme is being talked about as a future international for New Zealand. If someone is good enough to be in contention for the New Zealand side they are certainly good enough to play for Zimbabwe.
