Wes gone. Soft dismissal. He’s more a back foot player. Great innings. Now it might get untidy if Myers doesn’t bat well.

There’s a bit of Hamilton Masakadza about Dion Myers, he’s a solid lad looks like he’s got some power in his legs and backside 😂

Also when he slaps the spinners through cover he reminds me of Hami

Marumani goes for the on side slog too much, brought him undone here, might be a good t20 player where it’s slog or get out stuff

Oldknow needs to get some meat on his ass. Has no power. Should be slapping that parsons bloke down the ground.

Maybe he’s the one to open so he can use the pace!?

Great innings here by Myers, the rest of the middle order has fallen away but he’s shown his class

267/9 - very decent effort against a big team (albeit one that may be blighted by selection issues). Very impressed with some of these young lads. My fervent hope is they stick around and maybe they can be part of a new generation to build a team around.

Just been taken down a cricinfo rabbit hole to see many of them on the same Under 13 team. Googly, do you know anything about the younger Welch or Brian Bennet?

Also Googly, any chance that NW returns when he finishes Loughborough?
