Re: [Series Thread] Zimbabwe XI in Canada
Sadly i'm not going to be able to follow much of the 3 remaining days of this game, not that it looks likely to last 3 more days
There does seem to be something a little odd about the current cricinfo scorecard, i can't remember Matsikenyeri getting off the mark yesterday, nor can the cricinfo commentary, but he's been credited with 2 runs
The remaining batsmen are going to have to get their heads down if pitch and weather conditions are the same as yesterday, with Ervine and Sibanda, to be followed by Mutizwa and Chakabva and the tail, we should hopefully get a useful lead and be able to put pressure on the Canadians in their 2nd innings from the off and get the points needed take 2nd place from Afghanistan
Scotland and Afghanistan are up against each other in a few days time, so we could well be 2nd with a game in hand waiting until october and the final couple of games, i'm sure the players would be happy to spend a few days in Dubai during november
Let's get this one finished off first though and show that we have the players to do the job

On the bright side, it has brought Mutizwa to the crease:CrimsonAvenger wrote:Disastrous start to the day. Vusi gone first ball

Maybe he's been tasked with the "Coventry role" for this match, lets see whether his strike rate continues to stay high.

What a good player .Its sad this young lad was ignored all along probably because of the racist selection policy that existed before.God knows how many good young players we have lost because this.Well donr Graig.
