How anyone can come on here and say with authority that Amir was planning to buy a generator for his village with his ill-gotten gains is absolutely beyond me  He told you this, yeah?

He is an adult and at 18 he should know the difference between right and wrong. It's very cut and dry in my opinion; he's done the wrong thing, he's been caught, he will be punished.

The only question mark is over the extent of his punishment. His lack of international playing experience will work in his favour, it is highly likely that he had been coerced by senior players to take part in the fixing. That doesn't mean he should get a slap on the wrist though, he still needs to be banned for a substantial period of time.
I totally agree with BRMT. Amir is an adult and Pakistani cricket is already in a mess for past 4-5 years regarding all these allegations. I am sure he is neither blind nor deaf. He is still smiling. World cricket dont need his smile rather a clean chit. Sometimes you get only one chance in life. No excuse from my personal view point.

In this case however, there is a thing such as a second chance. He should be given one
