Indeed sloandog, Duffin will surely thrive in the test arena and should be a good candidate to open with taylor next year in out first test match since voluntary suspension

He's only 28 as well, a long from old by the standards of international openers.

Collapso for the Tuskers, from 356/5 to 391 all out - although that's still a first-innings lead of 50. 193 for Duffin.

Well batted Terry Duffin. I think there are four candidates for opening the batting next year.
Vusi Sibanda
Brendan Taylor
Hamilton Mazakadza
Terry Duffin

Perhaps Gary Ballance if he can prove himself domestically

Tuskers have lost 4 wickets chasing the win, and have made progress. They still need 73 but is there time?

This turned out to be a nail biter! I thought the Tuskers left it too late for the final push, but great win this :)

I still can't make out how some Steven Trenchard replaced Keith Dabengwa in second innings for Tuskers though :?

I guess Dabengwa wasn't available for some reason. Its not uncommon for that sort of thing to happen in county cricket, when a player gets called up by England half way through a match. It would have been exceptionally generous to allow Dabengwa a sub if he had been injured though, so I guess that some other circumstance may have dragged him out of the game.
