Remember I said that if I was wrong I would leave the forum? And zinfanatic made a smartass jibe about that !?

If memory serves then he is going to eastern suburbs in Sydney grade.

This is what happens when you don't pay your players

Yes you did, and for telling us all and getting it right then respect to you for that. I will certainly pay more attention to your predictions in future.

I merely expressed the wish, based on your comment if you was wrong you would leave the forum, that you would be wrong. It was a genuine wish on my behalf and not a smartass comment. It was not made to be comical, sly or snidey. Just a genuine wish.

The regular pay check is just a bonus, presumably ?

Most interesting paragraph in that:
It is believed that a clause in Zimbabwe's national contracts states that players will not be considered for selection if they do not play franchise cricket in the country.

However, when asked whether his stint in Australia would definitely rule him out of Zimbabwe's tour of New Zealand, coach Alan Butcher butted in to reply: "Not as far as he or I are concerned."

I don't know why peeps are already sulking about Vusi, He has been given the go ahead to go and will still play for the team didnt he come to the world cup via Aus last time. I think this is for the good and he will come back an even better play, lets hoipe he perfects the pull while he is there.

As for the contract clause  Does he even have this contract, does anyone for that matter have a contract? Sean ran when he realised he was the ONLY one WITH a contract! So that contact can have all the bells and whistles but if you actually dont have it to put your signature on it it is not binding.

Tino has indicated that he would want to play abroad. Guys here complain when our players perform in the local league. When Vusi scored ins 1000 runs people were saying he is doing it to the local scene wait till international cricket is back. Well he has realised that the local scene wont get him where he wants to b, now he wants to prove himself on another frontier.

True. This is a bit more hopeful. Disappointing none the less, as his skill and experience are necessary on the domestic circuit, but by the sounds of it, he is not making himself unavailable for Zim matches.

Bad news indeed, but hope he is available for national selection. Clarification from ZC needed for sure.

Good luck on that note, but I would give them credit if they do but normally they wait for a Taibu-Eve-Of-Test Moment and if it doesnt come get that serious we may never hear a statemnt or we will hear a very general one which you can read all sorts of things into.

Agree completely with the above two points. We need clarification which we never get. Maybe Ali Campbell will say something on commentary.

I do think that Zim are not in a position to be imposing conditions on players. Let's get the best XI possible on the field, irrespective of where they play.

Zimdoggy, you seem to be the man on the spot with this. Have your sources got any information on his availabilty??

One more thing. I would much much rather ZC directed it's resources at it's own players rather than the Dirk Nannes of ths world.
