Fidel, Rampaul, Roach, Sammy! (Russel, Taylor, Bravo)

Let's not overdo things now guys!
Sammy - Really ? is he world class? he is virtually a non playing captian and non-threatening bowler
Fidel - He is so expensive sometimes. He is not a great bowler at all. if ncube is lucky he is a lotto winner to be playing.
Roach - Wayward and sometimes effective. Officially dropped for bangaldesh tests and did not perform there either. He is fast.
Rampaul - Dont rate him at all. He is big bully. Does he even swing the ball. Wont get picked for any other side.

hhm, for all the talk of overrating zim bowlers this is just the same.

They got super lucky to strech the indian batting. Should get a** whopped in the odi's. Still winless on tour.

When was the last time WI won a test match or one day series? Please refresh my memory.
Bangladesh does not count. They(WI) are no better than Zim bowlers, infact worse imo.

here is their pathetic display against Bangladesh (who I think should not play test or odi games). all just concluded.

ss deals in superlatives ... but the WI attack looks better than they perform. They can look both innocuous and unplayable and Edwards and Taylor are 'Mitch Johnson' type matchwinners. I think it's hard to rate them, they're quick, have some control but apart from Sammy aren't they all lingering at an average of about 40 in Tests!!?

It's hard when you don't play Zim, Ban&NZ all the time! Fidel can tell you that!

Aus, Ind, Eng etc aren't exactly in the same level are they. Look at Bracewell! From bowling to Zim now and inexperience Aus lineup which absolutely crushed the bowlers we heap so much praise on!

yup, so you are asaying they're good in comparison to Zim!! still hard to say as we're only three tests in - but they look strong

Nope, they are superior to us. Look at how they crushed Bangladesh in a match the weather did well not to intervene in.

Our batsmen can never get past their attack, but their batsmen can plunder us all day long!

Just look at their team, add Mr '333' then you begin to understand what I'm talking about:
01Adrian Barath
02Chris Gayle
03Kirk Edwards
04Darren Bravo
05Chanderpaul
06Marlon Samuels/Dwayne bravo
07Carlton Baugh(wk)
08Darren Sammy(c)/Jerome taylor
09Rampaul/Roach
10Fidel Edwards/Roach
11Bishoo

Replacements:
All-rounders: Jerome Taylor, Dwayne Bravo
Bastmen: Nash, Sarwan;(Young batsmen)Kraigg Brathwaite, Kieran Powell
Pacemen: Roach, Adre Russell
Wicket-kepers: Ramdin, Lendl Simmons
Spinners: Benn, Shilingford,

I am surprised (at myself) at how underwhelmed i am with that list. Chanderpaul, on the verge of retirement - being the standout. Gayle and Dwayne, who rarely play for the Windies now - being above average and the rest is 'full of promise' or 'promised much but..'

look at how they escaped the ignominy of defeat to BD in the first test when weather DID intervene

just to be clear. I think the Windies are better than us ... with more promise for the time being. But we're moving in the right direction
